Jude Deakin - MayorForty two outstanding Chelmsford residents were honoured at the Mayor's Community Evening, held recently at Hylands House.

Hosted by the Mayor of Chelmsford, - Jude Deakin - the event celebrated residents who've made significant contributions to their community. This year's theme was wellbeing and Chelmsford's younger residents and their achievements were also recognised.

Jude Deakin said, "I am delighted to be here tonight to celebrate the best in our community - everyday people who have gone the extra mile to support our communities and make Chelmsford better in every way. It's been a difficult couple of years, so I'm proud to see our community coming together to support each other in these hard times. My sincere appreciation and congratulations to everyone here tonight."

A young harpist from New Hall School and the Chelmsford Morris Ladies provided music and entertainment throughout the evening.
